We offer you the opportunity to submit an application to us (e.g. by e-mail, post or online application form). In the following, we inform you about the scope, purpose and use of your personal data collected as part of the application process. We assure you that your data will be collected, processed and used in compliance with the applicable data protection and other statutory provisions and that your data will be treated in strict confidence.

In addition to other suitability, as an employer we have an interest in only employing people who are not on a statutory sanctions list. We would be legally prohibited from paying remuneration to listed persons.

 

Any other recipients of the personal data

Your personal data will not be transferred to third parties for purposes other than those listed.

In order to check whether there is no legal obstacle to your possible employment, we will transmit your name, address and date of birth to a service provider selected by us, who will check whether there is an entry in a legal sanctions list. A data processing agreement has been concluded with this service provider in accordance with Art. 28 EU GDPR.

The transferred data may only be used by the third party for the stated purposes.

What rights are you entitled to?

You have the right:

  • in accordance with Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR, to revoke your consent once given to us at any time, provided that we work on the basis of consent. The consequence of this is that we may no longer continue the data processing that was based on this consent in the future;
  • to request information about your personal data processed by us in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR. In particular, you can request information about the processing purposes, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a right to lodge a complaint, the origin of your data if it was not collected by us, as well as the existence of automated decision-making including profiling and, if applicable, meaningful information on its details;
  • in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR, to immediately request the correction of incorrect or incomplete personal data stored by us
  • in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR, to request the erasure of your personal data stored by us, unless the processing is necessary for exercising the right of freedom of expression and information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims
  • in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR, to demand the restriction of the processing of your personal data if the accuracy of the data is disputed by you, the processing is unlawful, but you refuse to delete it and we no longer need the data, but you need it for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims or you have lodged an objection to the processing in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR;
  • in accordance with Art. 20 GDPR, to receive your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format or to request its transmission to another controller; and

to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in accordance with Art. 77 GDPR. As a rule, you can contact the supervisory authority of your usual place of residence or workplace or our company headquarters.

Do we use your personal data in the context of automated decision-making?

In the event that you are placed on a statutory sanctions list, we will not be able to consider you further, regardless of your knowledge.

 

Is there a legal or contractual obligation to provide personal data or is it required to conclude a contract?

The data collected from you or about you is required for the decision on the establishment of an employment relationship.

 

Are you obliged to provide the required personal data? What are the consequences if you do not provide us with the required data?

You provide us with the data on a voluntary basis. If the information is incomplete, we will not be able to consider you further.
