DESKO supports Life Ball in Vienna with IDenty chrom swipe readers
Ten devices used for the safety of guests.
We were thrilled to support the 24th Life Ball in Vienna this year as sponsors. The impressive show, which is held every year between the Rathaus (Vienna City Hall) and Burgtheater, is one of the largest AIDS charity events and a significant social happening in Austria. This event aims to make a statement in the fight against HIV/AIDS. The proceeds from the Life Ball go to assist national and international aid projects. Many famous visitors, including supermodel Naomi Campbell, attended the event in Vienna to support the fight against this malicious immunodeficiency disease.
In order to meet the current safety requirements, comprehensive security checks were carried out for all guests this year for the first time. As part of these controls, our IDenty chrom swipe reader was used at the entrance to the event. We provided a total of ten devices. Using the IDenty chrom, employees were able to reliably collect the data from the machine-readable zone of guests’ IDs.
We are thrilled that our devices were able to make a small contribution to such a fantastic event.
